...POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING IN THE MOUNTAINS...FRONT RANGE
FOOTHILLS...PALMER DIVIDE...AND ADJACENT PLAINS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

.A WEAK UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SLOWLY ACROSS
COLORADO THROUGH TONIGHT. UPSLOPE FLOW WILL INCREASE BEHIND A
COOL FRONT ACROSS NORTHEAST COLORADO AS WELL.

PERIODS OF RAIN WILL GRADUALLY DEVELOP THIS MORNING IN THE
MOUNTAINS AND IN AND NEAR THE FOOTHILLS WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2
INCHES COULD OCCUR IN SOME LOCATIONS BY SUNDAY EVENING WITH THE
HIGHEST AMOUNTS IN THE FOOTHILLS AND MOUNTAIN AREAS.

THUS IF THIS ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURS THEN THERE WILL BE
SOME POTENTIAL FOR MORE FLASH FLOODING AS THE GROUND IS EXTREMELY
SATURATED.
